This is a full set of 50 cards showing the Military Uniforms of the soldiers of the British Empire Overseas Regiments. Issued in 1938 they are contained in the original album that Players produced to hold them.
Each card has a picture of a soldier in uniform. Alongside each card is the text that is printed on the back of the card, which gives details of the regiment and the uniform.
A very decorative album, each page has drawings relating to the regiment shown on the cigarette cards. There is an index at the front of the album.
The cards are all original and are approx 6.5 x 3.5cm and are glued into the album.
Overall the set and album is in good condition. There is some marking and age related darkening to the covers, inside pages are not affected. Original owner's name in pencil on front cover.
