These are of old billheads from the Great Yarmouth area.
They originate from nine different businesses many of whom are connected to the fishing industry. Others relate to a fruit & banana salesman, a potato merchant, a miller, a warehouseman and auctioneers.
They all date from 1924 to 1926 and were issued to a Mr J Durrant. All have been paid and many have receipts attached or duty stamps. Several companies are duplicated and so there are 12 billheads in total.
The sizes vary slightly but generally they are around 200 x 130mm.
Some slight damage around the edges and a hole in each where it has been put on a spike but overall they are in good condition.
A very interesting group of billheads for collectors of Great Yarmouth or Norfolk related ephemera. Also ideal for collage, decoupage, scrapbooking or other craft projects.
