Roses Malton Ales carrier bag. 1960s Charles Rose & Co advertising
An old carrier bag advertising Rose's Malton Ales.
Issued by Charles Rose & Co Ltd from The Old Brewery in Malton, North Yorkshire.
Charles Rose & Co were acquired by Tetley Walker in 1965 and so the bag presumably predates the takeover.
Made of a heavy brown paper it is 22 x 22cm and folds out to give a width of 14cm. There is a cord carrying 'handle'.
Unused, I don't think it has ever been opened out. Some slight marking but overall it is in very good condition.
