Radical fashion, an excellent book published by the Victoria & Albert Museum to coincide with their major world fashion exhibition in 2001.
It deals with fashions that were current throughout the world at the time but specifically the areas of the British superstar designers, the European conceptual and minimalist movements and the radical Japanese designers.
Included are the works of a range of international designers including Alexander McQueen, Issey Miyake, John Galliano, Helmut Lang, Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, Junya Watanabe, Comme des Garcons and many others.
The book details their fashion influences and their design processes etc through a large series of photographs and writings.
160 pages in hardback format with original dust jacket. 32 x 23cm.
There is some slight wear to the dust jacket and slight age related darkening to the page edges but overall it is in very good condition.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
