Glass storage bottles that formed part of an old picnic set.
They would have held your milk ready for the picnic tea.
Two different patterns. The green lidded bottles came from a Brexton brand set and the white lidded bottle came from a Coracle set. They both have the brand name moulded into the base.
The picnic sets would have included a full set of Bandalasta picnicware and the bottle lids would have matched the colour of the rest of the set. The last photo is of my own picnic set so you can see how they fitted in. (Set not for sale).
The Brexton and Coracle picnic sets were very popular from the 1930's through to the 1950's.
Slightly different sizes, the green lidded bottles are 10cm high overall and 8cm wide. The white lidded bottle is 12.5cm high and 7.5cm wide.
The bottles have been used and there is some light marking from this. There are no cracks or chips and overall they are in good condition.
Very good items, extremely practical for general use or to fill the gaps in your vintage picnic set.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
