These cards were issued by Brooke Bond and were included in their packets of tea and tea bags. They date from 1973 and feature pictures of famous adventurers and explorers from history.
Each card has an illustration of the adventurer or explorer on the front. On the back is a description of the person and details of their exploits. The set covers a wide range of people from Marco Polo to Neil Armstrong.
They are a full set of 50 original cards.
The cards are approx 6.8 x 3.7cm in size.
There is some wear commensurate with the age of these cards but overall the set is in good condition.
