These pictures of helpful hints on gardening were issued with Wills Cigarettes in 1923. They are a full set of 50 original cards.
Each card has a picture of a gardening technique on the front and a 'how to do it' brief description on the back. A wide variety of garden techniques are illustrated including pruning, planting bulbs, repairing lawns and laying crazy paving.
This set should not be confused with the similarly named set Garden Hints also by Wills.
They are ideal for framing as a decorative item or for using for a variety of craft projects.
The cards are approx 6.5 x 3.5cm.
There is some wear commensurate with the age of these cards but overall the set is in good condition.
