Two advertising blotters from Duckworth & Co of Manchester. They advertise the range of distilled essences that they produced and sold to make soft drinks.
The essences were made at their Old Trafford Essence Distillery and different products are featured on each of the blotters.
The blotters are undated but looking at their design they could be from the 1930's or 40's.
The sizes vary but they are approx 150 x 100mm. The backs are plain pink blotting paper, there is some marking on the backs where they have been stored in a pile. The Ginger Ale blotter has some pink marking on the front which has transferred from the blotting paper of another card during storage.
They have probably been bundled away for over 60 years.
