A Prospectus & Tariff for The Ilfracombe Hotel in Devon. It describes the hotel as "The only first-class hotel in Ilfracombe".
Produced by the hotel to give details of the hotel, prices etc to prospective guests. It is undated but looking at the photographs I would think that it was published before WW1.
The brochure gives details of the hotel facilities together with prices for rooms, meals and other facilities. Interestingly a double room would have cost 14/6 per night whereas a room for your servant would only cost 3/6.
Also included in the brochure are photographs of the interior and exterior of the hotel and also the salt water swimming baths. You can see that the hotel was obviously very grand at that time. Such a shame that it was demolished in 1976.
There are 12 pages plus thin card covers. Size 185 x 110mm.
There is some fading to the cover and the staples are rusty but it is still fully intact.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
