This guide entitled "Harrogate, Britain's Floral Resort" was published by the Town Council to show off the features of the town and to attract tourists.
It gives details of all the facilities in the town and is well illustated with photos and some drawings. It also gives details of other places that can be visited using Harrogate as a base. It is undated but from the text it would seem that it was probably published in 1963. Overall it does give a very good picture of the town.
As well as giving details of the town it also includes many pages of adverts for hotels and other businesses. A map is included at the end of the booklet.
There are 80 pages plus thin card covers. Size 135 x 195mm.
There is some slight creasing to the front cover but the inside pages are still in good condition. A previous owner has written a name and address inside the front cover.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
Postage is for UK only, please enquire for overseas postage.
