Battle Axe tobacco tins
These are old Battle Axe tobacco tins. They were sold by Ogden's, part of the Imperial Tobacco Co Ltd, and probably date from the 1960's although they could be older.
Size approx 63 x 63 x 20mm, they originally held 2ozs of tobacco. They have the reference number 21686 on the lid.
I have several of these tins and they have all been used and so show signs of wear. A previous owner has used them for storing odds and ends and has scratched the name of the contents on the lid in small letters. This can be seen in the photos.
