This is the table seating plan for a dinner of The Staffordshire Society held at Restaurant Frascati on 26th February 1913.
I don't recognise any of the guests' names but I am sure they are well known to people from the county.
At the time the Frascati Restaurant in Oxford Street was very fashionable and so this must have been quite a grand event.
The plan has some initials and the date written on the front. Inside names of anonymous guests have been added in the same handwriting. With a bit of deduction I think this seating plan was originally used by either His Worship the Mayor of Southwark, J M Hale esq, or his wife the Mayoress.
The size when folded is 200 x 115mm, it opens out into 3 sections. It looks as though this may originally have been glued into another document. Good condition.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects, but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
