This is a promotional leaflet for the Burnside Hotel, Bowness on Windermere in Cumbria. It is undated but from the photographs I would guess it is from the 1930's.
The leaflet give details of the hotel's facilities and the prices. The weekly summer charges ranged from 9 - 11 guineas according to the room, with dinner at 7 shillings, The hotel does still exist but is a little more expensive now.
As the hotel is located close to Lake Windermere the leaflet gives a lot a detail about the attractions of Bowness, Windermere and the Lake District generally
The size is 145 x 100mm and comrises 4 sides with photos on the front and back and the written details on the inner pages. Very good condition.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
Postage is for UK only, please enquire for overseas postage.
