These are large tins that would originally have held packets of Oxo stock cubes. Both are the traditional red and white design with the 'by appointment' crest. The earlier one which is from the 1950's has now been sold. The other tin has nothing to date it from but I would think it is from the 60's.
170mm wide 130mm front to back and 70mm high. Some scratching, mainly to the lids and also slight creasing to the lids. Inside the older one is slightly rusted consistent with its age, the other is quite bright and shiny. Ideal for kitchen storage or display or for packing your lunch in.
The 1950's tin is sold, the 1960's tin is still available.
