This is a guide for Sark in the Channel Islands. On the front cover the island is described as "Capri of the Channel".
The guide appears to be published by the Sark authorities and has an introduction by Sibyl Hathaway, Dame de Serk. It was published in 1958.
The guidebook gives lots of information about the island, its history and what to do whilst there, with numerous black and white photos. There is a map of the island together with a list of some of the main hotels. In addition there are numerous adverts for the various hotels, guest houses and other businesses on the island.
There are 50 pages plus thin card covers. Size 210 x 130mm.
There is some creasing to the covers, a name is written on the front cover and some hotel names on the back cover, nevertheless this is still a very good guide book. It is ideal for past or future visitors.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
