This is an "Official County Guide" of Suffolk. According to the title page it is "An Historical, Descriptive and Industrial Survey of the County of Suffolk". Published by the British Publishing Company Ltd of Gloucester and "Issued by Official Authority".
It is undated but looking at the publisher's reference and other information it could be from the early to mid 1970's.
It gives details of the history of the County, details of the main towns and villages and also information on Industries of Suffolk and Sport & entertainment.
Throughout the book there are black and white pictures of the places of interest together with numerous adverts for the businesses of the time. Overall it does give a good insight into the County at that time.
There are 128 pages plus thin card covers. Size 120 x 185mm.
There is very slight creasing to the front cover but the inside pages are still in good condition. A previous owner has written the name A U Weir in pencil on the first inside page.
