These lovely illustrations were originally issued in the French Fashion magazines, Le Journal des Modistes and Le Moniteur de la Mode. The larger illustration, which comes from Le Journal des Modistes, is dated as 1894. The other illustrations are undated but I would imagine that they are all of a similar age.
The illustrations from Le Moniteur de la Mode have the names Reville, who I think was a designer, and Jules David, who I think was probably the artist, on them. The designs from Le Journal des Modistes are credited to Madame Dujardin of Paris.
The smaller illustrations are 200 x 290mm, these will be posted flat. All are a little grubby but would look beautiful when they are mounted and framed.
Please note the numbers shown on the illustrations are only for identification on the web site only and do not appear on the actual illustrations.
The larger illustration is now sold.
