Turnberry Hotel Luggage label
An interesting luggage label from the Turnberry Hotel in Ayrshire, home of the famous Ailsa and Arran Golf Courses. Presumably intended to be fixed to a suitcase or golf bag.
The front face advertises the hotel and golf course and the reverse was intended for the user to write their name.
The name of the last user, Mrs K Pitt of Loughborough, Leicestershire is still written on the back.
Size 63 x 38mm, good condition.
There is nothing to indicate the age but I see that the hotel is now called Turnberry Resort and so it must predate that change.
Very nice item that will appeal to collectors of golf or hotel ephemera and also collectors of local ephemera for Turnberry area.
