Ten original unused billheads for the French brandy distiller Ortholan Frères of Auch in the Gers Départment of southern France.
They sold their brandy under the name La Reine Margot, Grande Fines d'Armagnac.
There is nothing to date the billheads but I have seen a poster dated 1927 with the distiller's name and the same logo. The phone number on the billhead is only 2 digits which must also put these in the same timeframe.
The name of the printer is given as B Arnaud of Lyon & Paris. There is a watermark of circles surrounding a lion with the letters BA, presumably the initials of the printer, the dates 1856 & 1906 and the words Special Typewriter, presumably the paper quality.
Size approx 270 x 210mm, they are in good condition.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
Postage is for UK only, please enquire for overseas postage.
