Postcard of Moorhead Street in Sheffield featuring the Crimea Monument before it was relocated. A nice busy street scene with tram 38 in the centre and good clear shop signs for the Public Benefit Boot Company and T & J Roberts. The view from this spot is now totally different with possibly only 1 building still existing.
Good monochrome card. Published by WR&S in their Reliable Series, number 2848 (last digit is a bit unclear).
The card was posted in 1906 (again a bit unclear), sent from Penistone Street, Sheffield.
Some rounding of corners and the pencil written message on the back is smudged, otherwise pretty good condition.
