A good view of Brook Street in Ilkley. Coloured card of the street scene showing the now demolished 'bowstring' railway bridge. Obviously Ilkely Council are as philistine as Leicester City Council who recently demolished a similar, slendidly designed bridge to make way for development!
Nice coloured card with a row of horse drawn vehicles in the scene. Presumably they are waiting for passengers coming from the nearby railway station.
It was published by F Frith & Co of Reigate, their reference number is 63557.
It is unposted and undated but I would think that it dates from around the time of WW1.
Slight ink marking on the back otherwise it is in good condition.
