Postcard of Forster Square and Post Office in Bradford. A busy street scene with a tram in the centre plus lots of people. The scene is a lot different to how it looks today.
It is interesting that the card is titled Foster Square so perhaps the publisher did not know the correct name.
Good hand-coloured card. No publisher details on the back it just says Printed in England. On the basis of the mistake with the name it was probably not a local publisher!
The card was posted in 1924 and sent to Mount Terrace in Eccleshill.
Slight rounding of corners and the card is a bit grubby but it is still a good record of what that part of the city used to look like.
