A monochrome postcard of the Poultry Cross in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Good streetscene before the area was pedestrianised. Most of the buildings can be recognised although there are some changes.
Nice card published by Valentines, their reference 42834.
The postcard was posted in 1906 from Launceston to an address in South Croydon.
The card is grubby and there is a crease to the top right corner, but it is still a very interesting postcard.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
