A monochrome postcard of the Market at Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Lovely busy scene that has changed a lot since the photograph was taken. Market in full swing with loads of animals and buyers/sellers.
Nice card published by the Photochrom Co Ltd in their Sepiatone series. Their reference is 44392.
The postcard has been posted but the franking is illegible. I would think that it dates from around the time of WW1.
The card is grubby and there is some creasing of the corners and the stamp has been partially removed but it is still a very interesting postcard.
