Harting, The Square
A good monochrome postcard of Harting looking from The Square towards the Church. The White Hart Inn can be seen on the right of the picture.
Nice street scene, the view has changed very little today, probably more traffic though.
Good monochrome card. On the back it has Emm's Series which refers to Archibald Emm a photographer from Hampshire. The card was printed by V & S Ltd (Valentines of Dundee) and has a Valentine's reference number of 36599.
Undated and unposted but I would think that it dates from before WW1.
Slight wear to corners and the original sender has marked an X where they were staying. On the back there is a crease but this seems to be a fault in the paper and does not show through on the front of the card
