A monochrome postcard published by Stratheden Mansions Hotel of Regency Square, Brighton.
View from across the gardens of Regency Square with the old West Pier in the background. The buildings seem to have changed very little today, but there is now probably more traffic.
The card was sent to an address near East Dereham, Norfolk. From the message it looks like the sender had gone to stay in Brighton for a healthy break. The franking is unclear but I think it says 1913.
Slight damage to the front of the card, as can be seen in the photo, and on the back the stamp has been removed. Still a good picture of the hotel and Square from the early part of the 20th Century.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
