Leek, Market Place
An old colour postcard titled Market Place, Leek. A high level view looking down on the old market place with the stalls and their canvas roofs.
The scene is similar today, although some of the buildings have changed and the stalls have been upgraded.
The card was published by Gottschalk, Dreyfus & Davis (G.D & D.) as part of their Star Series. They were publishing cards around 1904 and so the card must date from this period. It was printed in Bavaria.
Unwritten on reverse and unposted.
The card is in good condition.
