1960's corkscrews. Monkey head design made from Tegua nuts..
Novel design, these are part of a range of barware that use the Tegua nut as a base.
The nuts are carved into the shape of a monkey head and then a colourful urea formaldehyde hat and facial features added. The eyes are small dome headed tacks. Chromed corkscrew.
Available with 2 hat colours, red and yellow.
The size varies slightly but both are approx 11cm long.
The design is very typical of the playful items from the 1960's.
Very novel items and still fully useable.
