A monochrome postcard of The Cyclist's Rest, Bourne End in Hertfordshire.
Very good picture of what was obviously a popular cafe for cyclists. The roadside sign describes it as the Bourne End Coffee Tavern. The building also has the standard CTC sign.
The card was published by H W Flatt of Boxmoor as part of The "Art" Series.
It is unposted and undated but I would think that it probably dates from the early 1900's.
There is a crease to the bottom right corner and some rounding of the corners but it is still a very attractive card.
