An interesting old monochrome postcard showing Bristol Cathedral. The view is from College Green with the statue of Queen Victoria in the foreground. Today the view is almost exactly the same.
It is unposted and undated but I would estimate that is from between 1900 and 1910. As far as I can tell all the carriages shown in the picture are horse drawn.
Published by Harvey Barton & Sons, who were a local photographic company.
The card is in good condition, with some marking on the back from it having been in an album for many years. The words "Love from Mother" are written across the bottom of the front of the card in pencil.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
