A postcard of Weare Giffard in Devon, although the name is actually spelt Wear Gifford on the card. Good view of the village from across the River Torridge. The Hall is in the middle distance with the Church just behind.

It was posted in Leicester on December 22nd, 1904 to a Mrs Stileman in Putney. No indication why someone in Leicester is sending a Devon postcard as a Christmas card. On the rear is a Christmas message signed by Jane Mitchell and dated Xmas 1904.
Pretty good condition, slight rounding to corners, most notably bottom right corner.
