Nice bright and cheerful lidded preserve dish. The outer 'frame' is red with white spots with a clear dish within it. The original red spoon is still with the dish.
It dates from the 1950's or 60's and is very typical of the time. It is made from a rigid styrene and is part of a large range of spotted kitchen ware.
The frame is 110mm diameter and 70mm high and the inset dish is 90mm in diameter. Maximum width, including the handle 135mm.
There are no details of the manufacturer on the dish but the spoon says MB and British Made. This range of table ware was made by Embee Products.
It is in good condition and has retained the white painted spots.
This will look very good on your breakfast or tea table.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
