Blackburn & Liverpool safes
These oval shaped money boxes were issued by the Blackburn Savings Bank and the Bank of Liverpool & Martins Ltd.
The Blackburn safe is the larger size, 11cm maximum width and 8cm high. It has a coin slot on one side and a hole for notes on the other. Handle on the top.
The Liverpool & Martins safe is the smaller size, chrome finish. 9.5cm maximum width and 6cm high. Several coin slots for different coins and a hole for notes in the base.
As is normal with these home safes no keys are available.
