This guide features the areas of Harrogate, Ripon and Fountains Abbey but also includes Knaresborough and Studley Royal.
It was published by Abel Heywood & Sons of Manchester.
It is undated but an advert does refer to 1921 and so that is the probable publication date.
The guide gives the history of Harrogate with particular attention to the mineral water spas and the other health benefits of visiting the town. It then goes through the features of the other places covered by the guide. At the end there are 10 routes around the area for "Motor, cycling, walking and driving".
A map of the area is glued into the guide and this covers the area from Settle to Burnley to New Malton to Goole.
Also included are photos throughout the area plus a number of very good adverts.
There are 40 pages plus paper covers. Size 120 x 180mm.
There is some creasing to the covers and inside pages and splits to the top and bottom of the spine but it is still in pretty good condition for its age.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
Postage is for UK only, please enquire for overseas postage.
