Postcard of Smedley's Hydropathic Institution in Matlock, Derbyshire. Good view of the main buildings with the grounds etc in front. Today the tennis courts are being used as car parking.
Nice sepia postcard. There are no publisher details and so I presume it was issued by the owners of the Hydro.
Posted in 1935 to Birmingham. The sender has written a message saying that they hope that their stay at the Hydro will help their rheumatism.
Slight rounding of corners and some slight foxing but otherwise good condition.
