Five used bank cheques which date from 1925 to 1929. These were issued by Westminster Bank Ltd who eventually became NatWest.
They were used by William Hamson Limited who were Wholesale Hosiery Factors in the town and were mostly used to pay the manufacturers of hosiery products.
All cheques are stamped as paid and have been countersigned on the back, all in lovely flowing script and in pounds, shillings and pence.
As they have been used there is some slight damage, fading or staining but I think that can be forgiven, after all they have been stored for nearly 100 years.
Size 215 x 115mm.
These are interesting items of banking ephemera from a bank that no longer exists. Ideal for including in scrapbooks, decoupage or other projects.
I will send a random selection of five used cheques.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects, but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
Postage is for UK only, please enquire for overseas postage.
