A full display box of Minora de Luxe razor blades. This is a French item and the blades sold for 40 francs for a pack of 5 blades.
The box would have been used in a chemist's or barber's shop to display the blades to customers.
The display contains 40 razor blade packs in an advertising box. All of the packs I have opened contain 5 blades and so I assume that they are all full.
There is no indication as to age but at a guess they date from the 1940's or 50's but could be earlier. Must be before 1960 when the franc was revalued.
Overall the box is 140 x 105mm and is 33mm deep. The lid was originally hinged for display purposes but the 2 sections have become separated.
Some of the individual packs on the top layer show small areas of damage but the lower layers all seem to be in good condition.
