The booklet comprises a total of 32 pages, plus covers.
It includes a brief history of the Royal Burgh followed by 5 pages of "local walks" which take in the local sites of interest and surrounding villages. There are 9 pages of general interest information about the town which gives details of the Town Council and Burgh Officials, banks, doctors, hospitals, cinemas, fishing etc.
The booklet also includes photographs of prominent buidings, local scenery and surrounding villages. In addition there are 9 pages of adverts for local businesses and a fold-out map of the town. There is no publication date shown but the population of 5405 is stated as being "estimated at 30th June 1960".
Size 180 x 120mm. There is some creasing of the corners of the pages but overall it is in good condition.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
