Garden hints, a guide to gardening techniques
These cards of garden hints were issued with Wills Cigarettes in 1938.
They are a set of 50, each card has an illustration of a gardening technique on the front and a brief 'how to do it' description on the back.
A wide variety of garden techniques are illustrated including pruning, planting bulbs, repairing lawns and laying crazy paving.
The cards are approx 6.8 x 3.5cms.
This set should not be confused with the similarly named set Gardening Hints also by Wills.
