An original press photograph of Tom Simpson after his victory in the Paris Nice race in 1967. This was his biggest race victory to date.
The photo was distributed by the Keystone Press Agency and has their backstamp on the rear. Also on the back is a typed sheet giving details of the background to the photo. This comments that he leads the national team in the Tour de France.
It is 250 x 200mm in size and is in good condition.
A good item about a great cyclist who tragically died on Mount Ventoux only 4 months later.
