These vintage bakelite pin holders are is a very collectable and useful item for all sewing enthusiasts. They will hold a quantity of your pins and when you press down the top section a single pin appears through the hole. No more fiddling with tins of pins and dropping them all on the floor.
Two colours available, 1 is a mottled brown Bakelite and the other is a black Bakelite, both have "Ideal Pin-dispenser" on the underside together with Pat.pend.
There is nothing to give a date for these pin holders and dispensers but I would imagine they date from the 1930's or 40's.
They measure approx 65mm high and approx 35mm diameter at the base.
They are in good condition. No pins are supplied but you will probably have plenty lying around so that you can play with it!
Very interesting items for anyone who collects sewing accessories.
