Sheffield, Fargate
Postcard of Fargate, Sheffield. It's a busy street scene with trams in the centre plus a few carts and lots people.
The scene has The Green Dragon on the left and the Yorkshire Penny Bank on the right. The view has changed a lot now with many of the old buildings replaced.
Good monochrome card. Published by John Walsh Ltd of Sheffield but on the front it also says Hunt's Series M/c. On the back it says 'Photoyped in Berlin'.
The card was posted in 1904 and sent to Hanover Square in Sheffield.
Slight rounding of corners otherwise good condition.
