A recipe book published by Tate & Lyle to promote their Golden Syrup and sugars.
Titled "Simple everyday cooking for the busy housewife" the majority of the recipes feature the use of Golden Syrup whilst there are also jam recipes that use their preserving sugar.
The book has 16 pages of which 3 are title pages and introductions, the rest feature recipes. There is no date on the book but I would guess that it comes from before WW2, certainly from a time when there was no rationing
Size 180 x 125mm with thin card covers. The book has obviously been used but is still in good condition.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
