These Bandalasta vacuum flasks do not have the Bandalasta name on the base but they were used in the larger Bandalasta picnic sets and match the Bandalasta colours. The colours are B22 Light Blue and G11W Apple Green/white marbled.
The flasks are wide mouthed and were intended for food, most commonly soup, and complimented the conventional shaped flasks used for drinks. They are marked on the base as Thermos (1925) Ltd, London, who manufactured the glass inner linings and have Thermos on the lids.
They are 205mm high and 95mm diameter at the widest point. The opening of the glass liner is 65mm.
The flasks are in good condition, there is some slight scratching inside the lids where spoons have been probably been used for soup.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
