Cries of London, 2nd series.Old trades and street sellers
These cards show the old trades and street sellers who used to ply their trade on the streets of London. They were issued with John Players Cigarettes in 1916. This set has a blue printed back.
They are a set of 25, each card has an illustration of the street trader on the front and a brief description on the back. The set features the traditional street traders and it is interesting to read the descriptions of old London.
The cards are approx 6.5 x 3.5cm.
