These cards, Military Uniforms of the British Empire Overseas, showing the uniforms worn by the various regiments from across the British Empire were issued with John Players Cigarettes in 1938.
They are a set of 50, each card has an illustration on the front of a soldier wearing the uniform and a brief description of the regiment on the back.
The set features regiments from all the countries of the Empire, India being particularly well represented.
The cards are approx 6.5 x 3.5cm and are adhesive backed.
