A brass toasting fork produced for the 1951 Festival of Britain. Presumably it was on sale at the Festival.

Made by Peerage, who produced a wide range of brassware at the time. It has a loop at the top so that it could be hung alongside the fireplace ready for use.

The Festival emblem at the top is removeable and this fork was produced with a wide variety of emblems.

Overall it is 50cm long and the Festival emblem is 6cm diameter.

It is in very good condition although it does have the usual age related patina. I have not cleaned this so that the eventual owner can decide whether or not to clean it.

A very quirky Festival of Britain souvenir that will be a great addition to a Festival of Britain or brassware collection.

Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.

Postage is for UK only, please enquire for overseas postage.
