These are 4 original visiting cards for William Lea & Co Ltd of the Bloomsbury Foundry, Wolverhampton. It looks like they were intended to be sent in advance to their customers to advise of a forthcoming visit by one of their representatives.
I assume that the Bloomsbury Foundry was situated in or close to Bloomsbury Street in Wolverhampton (then in Staffordshire). I have not been able to find anything about this company but a partnership in a foundry business in Wolverhampton between William Parkes and William Lea was dissolved in 1842 and so perhaps William Lea continued the business under his own name.
There is nothing to give an age to the cards but judging from the design I would think they are Victorian or Edwardian.
The cards are 115 x 75 mm, some slight discolouration but generally good condition.
