This is an original advertising envelope issued by S J Harratt, General Motor Carrier of Yardley Hastings, Northamptonshire. They operated from an address on Olney Road.
The envelope has a good illustration of a lorry bearing their name. Not sure if this was actually one of their own lorries but it looks a lot like a Thornycroft J Type (although I am not an expert on vintage lorries).
The envelope is undated but based on the design of the lorry I would think it dates from the late 1910's or early 20's
The size is 138 x 80mm and it is made of typical manilla envelope paper. It is unused with no contents. Good condition.
