A lovely china Tea Pot from the Festival of Britain in the shape of a thatched cottage. This is one of the many commemorative items that were made for the Festival and it carries the name above the front door.
It was made by Keele Street Pottery, who produced a range of cottage shaped items for tea sets.
The size of the base is 130 x 110mm and the overall height is 140mm.
It is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips. There is some crazing to the glaze as can be seen in the photos of the base.
A very quirky Festival of Britain souvenir that will be a good addition to a Festival or tea pot collection.
Will be posted with a 'signed for' service.
Please note. I do my best to accurately photograph and describe the condition of the items for sale, including any minor defects, but all pieces are vintage and have had previous lives and so may have minor flaws.
